MARYLAND’S PREMIER MARKETING LAUNCH AGENCY ADDS NEW TALENT
Baltimore,
Maryland – January 5, 2006 – BR MarketLaunch LLC, a
Baltimore-based full service marketing launch agency is
happy to announce the addition of four new member associates.

Each new associate brings their own unique and special
talents to BRM,” said Tonia Blackwood, Founder and Chief

and it is reflected in our team dynamic.”
Tory Smith will contribute to BRM Client Services. He brings
over ten years of expertise in sales and marketing, where
his concentrations include sales, account management,
marketing, lead management and with an extensive background
in the professional licensure and certification testing
industry. Tory’s strong background in lead management and
new process implementation allows him to assess our clients’
overall sales processes, produce competitive analysis’ that
result in the launch of new programs designed to
considerably increase profit margins. He lives with his wife
and son in Howard County.
Caprece Jackson-Garrett will contribute to BRM Public Relations & Media
Affairs, with over twenty years of experience in
promotion, media and public relations, professional writing,
event planning and fundraising. Caprece has accumulated
solid experience as a marketing professional in the
Washington-Baltimore market, New York City and Paris,
France. She has served as Press Secretary to the Baltimore
City Council for three and a half years. Caprece has also
coordinated events for numerous prominent organizations in
the Baltimore/Washington market, including lending her
skills to the 2005 Miss USA Pageant. She lives with her
husband and two daughters in Baltimore County.
Melanie Pyne will contribute to BRM Business Development and
Operations. She brings over seven years of creative
sales and marketing experience, with expertise in the
planning and execution of global/national brand strategies
and initiatives in the wine and spirit industry. She also
has a strong working knowledge of consumer purchasing and
trend behavior, brand positioning and creative concept
design. Melanie is involved with many philanthropic
projects in the Baltimore area ~ Koffee Talk, BreastFest and
My Sisters Circle ~ developing market strategy, business
development and event planning. Melanie is a graduate of
Towson State University with a BS in Mass Communications -
Advertising and Public Relations. She lives with her husband
in Baltimore City.
Erin Gouty
will contribute to BRM Business Development and Client
Services. She brings over five years of creative
marketing and organizational experience, with specialized
expertise in event management ranging from the Olympics to
trade shows. Erin Gouty is a graduate of East Stroudsburg
University in Pennsylvania with a BS in Leisure Services
Management – Marketing concentration. She lives with her
husband in Baltimore City.
